St. Patrick Women's Guild

History of Our Guild

The Guild was organized on October 10, 1976 by a nucleus of former members of St. Katherine's Auxiliary. Since its humble beginning 39 years ago, the organization has sponsored, supported and actively participated in parish and community events. Some of the annual events include the Seder Meal, Vacation Bible School, a Senior Citizens' Brunch, and the annual Woman's Guild Fundraising Tea. Members of the Guild serve as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and all are members of all church committees and commissions. The Guild is an affilitate of the National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW), the South Carolina Council of Catholic Women (SCCCW); and the Charleston Deanery Council of Catholic Women. Guild members serve as leaders on all levels of Council. For additional information about the Women's Guild, please contact the Church Office (843-723-6066).
